How does the TradeUp program work?
It is easy! Follow these simple steps:
Step 1 - Register or select guest access to receive your free quote.
Step 2 - Tell us about the system you are trading in.
Step 3 - Receive an instant quote value for your pre-owned system.
Step 4 - Provide your Mac Zone Order Number as your proof-of-purchase.
Step 5 - Print the shipping label and ship your items our Lake Forest facility using any service that provides you with a tracking number.

After receiving your old system, our trade-up center will verify the old System's specifications and confirm your rebate check amount via email. Rebates will be issued within 60 days of your emailed notification.
System Requirements
- Must be received by Mac Zone Lake Forest, CA representatives in working order (system can be turned on, run operating software and shut down normally).
- Must be complete including CPU, hard drive, power cord. Also includes keyboard, mouse and operating software, if available.
- No stand-alone monitors accepted.
- Cash Back offer starts at varying prices depending on your complete, working system's configuration. Not all Apple Systems qualify. See our website for a full list of systems.

Offer Requirements
- Customer must pay all costs associated with shipment of old system to or from Mac Zone.
- Customer's old system must be received by Mac Zone Lake Forest, CA facility within 30 days of customer's new Apple product, to which the offer applies, being shipped from Mac Zone.
- Customer must fill out and submit an online trade-up form, providing the old system's serial number, model number and specifications.
- Customer must include copy of trade-up confirmation email (generated by form submission) and trade-up tracking # in shipment of old system.
- Customer must accept all of Mac Zones' terms and conditions with respect to the offer.
- Customer must agree to accept that all determinations of Mac Zones with respect to trade-in and credit value of old system as final.
- Customer must agree to be solely liable for the condition of the old system to be traded in, including any software or other information stored thereon.
- Customer must acknowledge that Mac Zone may reject or limit the quantity of systems to be traded-in under the offer.
- If Customer's system to be traded in is not complete or functioning upon arrival at Mac Zone Lake Forest, CA facility, a subsequent cash value will be determined and offered to the customer via e-mail. The customer must then communicate their acceptance of the new cash value via email or agree to pay costs of returning the system to the owner.
- Offer is valid only in the United States.
Payment Details
- Mac Zone will send a check for the designated credit value within 60 days of receipt of the system to be traded in.
